How do I become a customer member?
All individuals over the age of 18 years and legal entities which enter into a contract with an Achmea company established in the
Netherlands automatically become customer members.
What rights and obligations do client members have?
The client membership gives you the right to become a member and entitles you to vote and make use of the members activities offered. Vereniging Achmea will
announce any specific actions via the website. The client membership does not involve any additional obligations.
Can I refuse to become an automatic member?
Each customer can communicate this in writing or by email on entering into an agreement with one of Achmea’s companies.
The termination will subsequently be confirmed in writing or by email.
What are the advantages of the membership, can I get discounts?
There are no discounts on the products of our labels. But we organize “themabijeenkomsten” about interesting subjects at special places to emphasize more and more the role of Achmea in society.
How do I become a voting member?
A customer member can become a voting member by applying to the Board of Directors of Vereniging Achmea. For that purpose,
you can use the application form available for downloading elsewhere on this website.
What rights do I have as a voting member?
A voting member is entitled to vote at the Meeting of Voting Members of Vereniging Achmea. In order to attend a Meeting of Members,
voting members should apply to the Board of Directors of Vereniging Achmea at least three days in advance.
How can I terminate my membership with the right to vote?
A member with the right to vote can indicate his desire to terminate his membership in writing or by email. The right to vote expires by
the end of the calendar year subject to two months’ notice. The termination will subsequently be confirmed in writing or by email.
I have insurances from a various companies and brands of Achmea. Which one do I have to choose
to fill in on the application form?
It is not required to mention all insurances. You may choose any product

Vereniging Achmea promotes the collective interests of the customer members of Achmea and aims to ensure the continuity
of Achmea B.V. and its associate companies.
